About Me

Renee: Dickinson, Texas, United States; HI there. My name is Renee and I am a SAHM with a big extended family as well. I have 2 children: Madison who is 16, and Alex who is 14. I have 2 younger brothers, both of my parents are still married and living (I know rare huh?), and I am the "cool community mom" to many of my kids' friends from their activities from school (Band and Special Olympics). Our house is always full of people and love! We have great friends as well. We host themed parties as one of the "fun" activities we share... and I'll share those with you too. I absolutely love cooking and sewing, so you'll see alot of that around here too! I have tons of other passions in life and I thought I would create a blog to help out others who may find themselves in a tight situation that I have experienced and lived to tell you about. I'll be posting recipes and cooking articles, crafts, family related stuff, shopping, frugality tips, etc... just whatever comes to the old "susie-homemaker's" mind LOL!
